ICJ offers a one-year Government recognized full time Post-Graduate Diploma Course in Communication and Journalism.

The curriculum has been developed by incorporating the latest in media world and is tailor-made to suit the present day requirements.

Emerging trends of media with immense growth potential – from web streaming to FM Radio – find particular focus in curriculum.

Keen in developing a healthy social perspective for the journalists of the upcoming generation, training is given in photo journalism, internet, web journalism, technical writing and news-based programmes in TV, Radio etc.

DTP training and Online editing and pagination are part of the curriculum.

Importantly, special crash programmes to upgrade language ability is also included in the ICJ curriculum.

Dissertation (a detailed project work), seminars and workshops on a host of topics, outdoor assignments, interaction with leading personalities from prominent fields and a one-month internship in leading news daily/news agency from the part of the year-long course.

Duration of the course is one year. Academic year will be divided into two segments of 6 months each.

The classes are handled by an excellent team of faculty. Classes will be held six days a week. The sessions will be between 9.30AM to 5.30PM.
